GREAT PLAINS BULLETS
The Great Plains bullet features a prescored, hollow point for controlled expansion; a short ogive to minimize bullet drag and increase the ballistic coefficient, and a bearing surface with three diameters to ensure optimum contact area and a snug fit for unmatched bullet rotation, stability and accuracy in flight. The bullet’s specially knurled grooves are pre-lubed with Hornady’s Great Plains™ all natural lube for easier loading and cleaner firing. Each Great Plains bullet is cold swaged for optimum consistency, has a bore diameter base that makes the bullet easy to align with the barrel while still maintaining a tight fit, and the hollow base skirt obturates easily and seals with the bore on ignition of the propellant.
