Precision Reloading's Steel Reloading Manual
The 12th Edition Steel Reloading Manual contains 176 loads for 10GA, 12GA and 20GA.  All data conforms to the limitations and requirements set by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute (SAAMI).  Determining safe pressures by following SAAMI guidelines is very time consuming and very expensive - neither of which can be compromised in any way or fashion. Computer generated loading data is totally unacceptable as no element of interior ballistics is linear. Interpolation or extrapolation is not only unacceptable but impossible - the only scientific and acceptable manner to arrive at safe pressures is to conduct hardware testing of each and every recipe - period! That is our way of doing business at Precision Reloading.

What is Mylar®?
Mylar® can withstand temperatures from 70° C to 150° C. It does not become brittle with age as it contains no plasticizers.  Mylar® provides outstanding resistance to moisture and most chemicals.  In the shooting industry Mylar® wrap is used to protect lead shot from barrel scrub - that in turn causes shot deformation equating to blown patterns.  Shotgunners interested in tight patterns at longer distances use Mylar® wrap in conjunction with Spherical Buffer (PSB™) to maximize the efficiency of long range loads.  Some steel reloaders use Mylar® to add additional wall thickness to their steel wad further protecting their bore against rub-through that causes bore scratches. Tom Roster's 3rd Edition Buffered Lead & Bismuth Reloading Manual is an excellent source of information and loading data for the long range shooter who is looking for dense patterns that will take game beyond distances of regular magnum loads.
