The Sinclair primer pocket uniformer can be used as either a hand tool or a power tool, adaptable to a drill motor or drill press. This offers added tool versatility which in turn translates to reduced cost by combining tool types. Using their popular power uniformer as the basis, Sinclair has added an optional screw driver type handle so that you can operate the tool manually for uniforming small lots of brass or for primer pocket cleaning. These tools have replaced the original double ended uniformer and must be ordered by primer pocket size -  We offer Large Pistol only.

Use of a chamber plug allows the bore to be left standing full of solvent without fear of these chemicals running back into the action. For badly fouled barrels, we suggest that the barrel be filled with a good solvent, capped tightly (masking tape does an excellent job), and allowed to "soak". If you store your rifles in an upright position, we strongly suggest the use of a chamber plug to prevent any traces of solvent or oil from running down into the trigger mechanism. If you section a number of new cases, you’ll notice a burr around the flash hole on the inside of the case. This burr is a result of the manufacturing process. Removal of the burr and normalizing the length of the flash hole allows the primer flash to more uniformly ignite the powder charge.  A special version of the Deburring Tool is available for the PPC cartridge which has a .060 flash hole.

Sinclair's Oversized Expander Mandrels are single ended mandrels measuring approximately 0.001" larger than the same caliber standard mandrels. The use of these prior to neck turning will give you an ideal fit with respect to the normal neck turning mandrel. Made from the same high quality grade of stainless steel used in the standard mandrels these new oversized mandrels will work in any of the Sinclair Expander Bodies.
